The Holy Spirit 's Letter
(same as Holy Ghost)
"Through the Holy Spirit we are restored to paradise, led back to the Kingdom of heaven, and adopted as children, given confidence to call God "Father" and to share in Christ's grace, called children of light and given a share in eternal glory."
- St. Basil, De Spiritu Sancto
THE HOLY SPIRIT
"Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth:
for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak:
and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me ..."
John 16:13, 14
My Dear Vistor,
My name is Rev. Dr. Chaplain Oliver S. Hoard Of The United States Chaplaincy. I am a member of The Chaplaincy International Association. Thank very much for visiting www.thetrueworshippers.com . I pray that this letter finds you prospering and in good health. With your permission I would like to once again just take a few minutes of your precious time to talk with you about who is The Holy Spirit and why you need The Holy Spirit in your life while you walk this earth daily. There are many misconceptions on the identity of the Holy Spirit. Some view the Holy Spirit as a mystical force. Others understand the Holy Spirit as the impersonal power God makes available to followers of Christ. What does the Bible say about the identity of the Holy Spirit? Simply put - the Bible says that the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a Person, a Being with a mind, emotions, and a will.
Some of the things the The Holy Spirit can do are as followed; this is by no means a complete listing, however He is very real!!! The Holy Spirit can be given to you, He can depart from you, He can speak to you, He can be pour out on you, He can carry you, He reveals things to you, He can instruct you, He can testify through you, He can be provoked, vexed, He can be lied to, He can be grieved, He can enter into believers, He can be recieved by faith, He can seal a believer into redemption, He can give access to God, He can be quenched, He can be blasphemed, He can help you to obey The Word of God, He invites People to God,. He can flow out of the innermost being like rivers, he can teach, He will bring all things to your ememberance, He can reprove the world, He can impart power to believers, He can be tempted, He can make you free from sin and death, He raise people from the dead, He can help you in your prayers, He can fill you with the Love of God, He knows everything, He can write on the tablets of your heart, He can change you into a Christ-like person, He can give life,
The fact that the Holy Spirit is God is clearly seen in many Scriptures including Acts 5:3-4. In this verse Peter confronts Ananias as to why he had lied to the Holy Spirit and tells him that he had "not lied to men but to God." It is a clear declaration that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God. We can also know that the Holy Spirit is God because He possesses the attributes or characteristics of God. For example, the fact that the Holy Spirit is omnipresent is seen in Psalm 139:7-8, "Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there." Then in 1 Corinthians 2:10, we see the characteristic of omniscience in the Holy Spirit. "But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God."
We can know that the Holy Spirit is indeed a Person because He possesses a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit thinks and knows (1 Corinthians 2:10). The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). The Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27). The Holy Spirit makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). The Holy Spirit is God, the third "Person" of the Trinity. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the Comforter and Counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:16,26; 15:26). Truly The earth as we know is becoming worst and worst. Violence and deception is everywhere. People by the millions are surcoming to the mind control of Satan, his evil spirits and their practices of immoral habits and behaviors. Right/Good is becoming wrong while evil/bad are becoming what people are accepting as good and the norm.
Very Important
"The Holy Spirit does his work by making Christ present among us, and Christ can do his work on earth only by being present in his Holy Spirit." |
The Holy Spirit works in us to make clear to us what purpose God has in mind for us. The Spirit guides us :
through Scripture. As we steep ourselves in it, the Spirit that moves it moves us more and more.
through circumstances.
through other believers, as happened in choosing the first seven deacons (Acts 6), and with the church in Antioch in sending Paul and Barnabas out on their mission (Acts 13). (In no way is this a sure thing; everyone else can be very wrong. But it is one way the Spirit sometimes uses for showing us what to do.)
through prayer. Paul speaks of the the peace of Christ ruling in our hearts when we pray about our decisions. The Spirit may bring to us an inner peace about our course of action. This peace doesn't fill you with intellectual certainty, but with a
The Spirit pours faith into us. The tactics will be different from one person to another. It may be through a sermon, a worship service, a youth event, a song, a
The Spirit gives gifts which make the Body work effectively and powerfully.
The Spirit is at work moving people to Jesus Christ.
Well I'd better wrap this up, If you desirer to have everything that The Holy Spirit has to offer you and you are a Born- Again Child Of God you can ask God The Father to allow Jesus Christ to Baptise you into The Holy Spirit, so you can move in the Authority, Demonstration and Power of The Holy Spirit. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit and He is working through you, wonderful miracles will take place.
If you are a believer just ask your Heavenly Father to give you The Gift of the Holy Spirit in His Fullness, as much as you can take. Go to this website to learn more. http://www.wholeperson-counseling.org/ndoc/recholys.html.
INVITATION:
My Dear Reader, there is so much I would like to share with you, but I only asked you for a few minutes of your time so I will close now. If you have found this letter to at least stir your heart, mind and soul and you believe what I am saying makes sense, then I only ask you to give God a chance to rescue you from your sins and the Kingdom of Darkness by inviting Jesus Christ into you heart. Then ask God to Baptise you with His Holy Spirit.
Now is the time for you to place God as King of your life and to begin to do the greater works that Jesus Christ said we would do. John 14:12
Acts 16:10), bringing about endings and beginnings, opportunities and completions, opening and closing doors to the hallways of life. confidence you can live by. (A feeling of peace, too, can be wrong. If so, the Spirit will use Scripture to eventually cause the peace to be disturbed.)testimony, an act of kindness, a relationship of love, a struggle of conscience, a brush with disaster or insanity, a steady gradual series of changes, a blissful 'peak experience' moment, a shaken-up charismatic experience, or a whisper calling to you from inside.compassion for others.2 Timothy 3 (King James Version)
2 Timothy 3
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We live is a world where evil/sin is so rampant and where Bad is becoming the Norm.Good is become the abnormal. The Moral Standard that once guarded our families has deteriorated our Nations.
We need to know and understand what The Holy Spirit is saying to Us.;
Paul describes the process of inspiration by the Holy Spirit in one of his Epistles:
1 Corinthians 2:9-13:
Paul refers to the Hebrew Scriptures as the "word of God," not of men:
1 Thessalonians 2:13:
"For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."(KJV)
A key proof text used by conservative Christians to support their belief in inspiration is in one of the Pastoral Epistles. It states that all of the Scriptures are "theopneustos" in the original Greek -- "breathed out by God:"
2 Timothy 3:16:
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (KJV).A second popular verse which supports the concept of inspiration is in one of the General Epistles:
2 Peter 1:20-21:
"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (KJV)"A very strong daily relationship with the The Holy Spirit is as necessary as breathing air to live. We must be baptized into the fullness of the Holy Spirit and keep our bodies which is The Temple of The Holy Spirit filled at all times. We should Hunger and Thirst for The Holy Spirit as living water more than our natural food we eat daily. Ask The Holy Spirit to be your Best Friend On The Earth. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to be more like Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit loves to lift up Jesus Christ,. He will help you become more like Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is a real person who came to reside within Jesus Christ's true followers after Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven (Acts 2). Jesus told His apostles...
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." (John 14:16-18)
The Holy Spirit is not a vague, ethereal shadow, nor an impersonal force. He is a person equal in every way with God the Father and God the Son. He is considered to be the third member of the Godhead. Jesus said to His apostles...
"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matt. 28:18-20)
God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And all the divine attributes ascribed to the Father and the Son are equally ascribed to the Holy Spirit. When a person becomes born again by believing and receiving Jesus Christ (John 1:12-13; John 3:3-21), God resides in that person through the Holy Spirit (1Cor. 3:16). The Holy Spirit has intellect (1Cor. 2:11), emotion (Rom. 15:30), and will (1Cor. 12:11).
A primary role of the Holy Spirit is that He bears "witness" of Jesus Christ (John 15:26, 16:14). He tells people's hearts about the truth of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit also acts as a Christian's teacher (1Cor. 2:9-14). He reveals God's will and God's truth to a Christian. Jesus told His disciples...
"The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." (John 14:26)
"When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come." (John 16:13)
The Holy Spirit was given to live inside those who believe in Jesus, in order to produce God's character in the life of a believer. In a way that we cannot do on our own, the Holy Spirit will build into our lives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23). Rather than trying to be loving, patient, kind, God asks us to rely on Him to produce these qualities in our lives. Thus Christians are told to walk in the Spirit (Gal. 5:25) and be filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18). And the Holy Spirit empowers Christians to perform ministerial duties that promote spiritual growth among Christians (Rom. 12; 1Cor. 12; Eph. 4).
The Holy Spirit also performs a function for non-Christians as well. He convicts people's hearts of God's truth concerning how sinful we are -- needing God's forgiveness; how righteous Jesus is -- He died in our place, for our sins; and God's eventual judgment of the world and those who do not know Him (John 16:8-11). The Holy Spirit tugs on our hearts and minds, asking us to repent and turn to God for forgiveness and a new life.
Very Important Warning
1 Timothy 4 (King James Version)
1 Timothy 4
King James Version (KJV)Public Domain1Now the Holy Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
The Holy Spirit Of God has been speaking to every human being that still has their conscious intact. The Bible says that let Him the has a ear to hear, Let him hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church.. He is trying to make in roads into our hearts to help bring us back to God's wonderful standard of right-thinking and living. We live is a world where sin is so rampant that even the Morality Standard that once guarded our families has deteriorated into confusion, dysfunction families are becoming the norm, for example i.e, Children born out of wedlock a lot times are facing the cruel world without a strong relationship with their fathers thus becoming filled with anger toward having to live in a world without the strong nuturing effect that Fatherhood brings to a children. Many are rebelling against their families, friends, Communities, etc, they are illegally drinking alcohol, using illegal drugs, into pre-marital sex, criminal activity, violence, etc,. This is to the point where children are becoming divided as to what is right and what is wrong.. What is acceptable and what is not acceptable. Well, I am here to tell you flat out. It does not matter what we feel is right. We must teach others that the
The Holy Spirit is the only right one and that conviction comes from The Holy Spirit working on one's conciousness and this is much needed in these last days.. You must come to know and understand that The Holy Spirit wrote The Bible;. The Holy Spirit is the divine author of all Scripture. Men who were anointed and inspired by the Holy Spirit recorded what he spoke to them. The Holy Spirit works 24/7 to bring people to Jesus Christ. However it seems like.people are becoming more concerned about getting more closer to the creation instead of to the Creator. It is truly amazing how much people have formed better relationships with people, places and things, than they have with Almighty God. In fact the The Bible talks about this in;
If you have found this Holy Spirit Letter to be valuable and you have invited God to Baptise you with The Precious Holy Spirit, then write me and let me or my wife know and then pass this letter on to someone you love and care about as soon as possible.
